These Terms of Use govern your use of the MeAgain app. By downloading, creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What the App Does

The app helps you make more informed choices when eating out. Based on the information you provide, the app may recommend restaurants and meals, suggest menu items, estimate nutrition information, personalize suggestions, help you find nearby restaurants, and provide subscription-only features. Some features may use artificial intelligence and automated systems.

2. Wellness Information Only

• The app is provided for general wellness, educational, and informational purposes only
• The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional nutrition advice
• The app is not a substitute for a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional
• Speak with a qualified professional before making major changes to your diet
• If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately
• We do not guarantee weight loss, weight gain, muscle gain, improved health, or any other specific result

3. Nutrition and Menu Information

• Restaurant menus, ingredients, recipes, serving sizes, and preparation methods can change at any time
• Nutrition information may come from restaurants, public sources, third-party databases, calculations, or AI-generated estimates
• Calories, macros, ingredients, and other information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate
• Actual nutrition values may differ from the values shown in the app
• You are responsible for deciding whether a meal or menu item is appropriate for you

4. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

• Do not rely on the app as your only source of allergen or ingredient information
• We cannot guarantee that a suggested meal is free from a particular allergen or ingredient
• Restaurants may change ingredients or preparation practices without notice
• If you have an allergy, intolerance, or dietary restriction, confirm the latest information directly with the restaurant before ordering or eating

5. AI-Generated Recommendations

• Some recommendations may be created or ranked using artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other automated tools
• AI-generated content may contain errors, missing information, or unexpected results
• A recommendation that looks accurate may still be incorrect
• Always use your own judgment and confirm important information with the restaurant or a qualified professional
• AI recommendations must not be used to make medical decisions

6. Accounts

• Some features may require an account
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date
• You are responsible for protecting your login details and device
• The app is not intended for children under 13
• If you are under the age of legal majority, you may use the app only with a parent or legal guardian's permission

7. Subscriptions and Free Trials

Some features may require an auto-renewing subscription. The subscription screen will show the features included, subscription period, price, and any free-trial or introductory offer before you purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Unless you cancel, the subscription automatically renews. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Canceling at least 24 hours before the end of the current period avoids renewal.

Deleting the app or deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

8. Account Deletion

You can start account deletion from the account settings inside the app. Deleting your account removes the account and associated information that we are not legally required to keep. Some limited information may remain temporarily in backups. Remember to cancel an active Apple subscription separately.

9. Notifications

With your permission, the app may send trial reminders, subscription notices, account alerts, service updates, and personalized reminders. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not use the app for illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes; copy, sell, rent, distribute, or commercially exploit the app; scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to collect information; reverse engineer the app; bypass a subscription, security feature, or access restriction; interfere with the app, servers, or other users; use the app to build or train a competing product; or pretend to be another person.

11. Sharing and Third-Party Services

The app may display information from restaurants, maps, nutrition databases, or other third-party services. Restaurant names, logos, menu items, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Unless clearly stated, the app is not sponsored by or officially connected with the restaurants or brands shown.

12. App Content and Intellectual Property

The app, its design, software, text, graphics, recommendations, and other original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app for your own noncommercial use.

13. Service Changes and Account Suspension

We may update, improve, add, or remove features from time to time. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, security, or technical reasons. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms, abuses the service, creates a security risk, or breaks the law.

14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that every recommendation, nutrition estimate, restaurant listing, AI output, or other item of information will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for you. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses resulting from your use of the app.

15. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and the app provider, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for operating, maintaining, or supporting the app. Your right to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the app, our practices, or applicable rules change. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page. If a change is important, we may notify you in the app, by email, or through another reasonable method.
